Cooling-off period (online orders)

If you buy a book directly from my website, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the day your order arrives. You can cancel for any reason. Once you’ve cancelled, you have another 14 days to send the book back.

When the book is returned, I’ll issue a full refund within 14 days — including the standard delivery cost you originally paid.

Eligibility for returns

To qualify for a change-of-mind refund, the book must be:

• unused
• in its original condition
• handled only as you would in a shop

If the book has been read, scribbled on, torn, or otherwise used beyond normal inspection, I may reduce the refund to reflect the loss in value.

Faulty or damaged books

If your book arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, you’re entitled to a repair, replacement, or full refund. Return postage will also be refunded in these cases.

Please contact me within 30 days of receiving the item so I can put things right quickly.

Return shipping

• Change of mind: you cover the return postage.
• Faulty or damaged items: I cover the return postage.

Please keep your proof of postage until your refund has been processed.

How to start a return

Just email me at mattdaviesauthor@gmail.com (or use the contact form) with:

• your order number
• the name of the book
• the reason for return

I’ll reply with the return address and the next steps.
